Meet Colleen Roarty, MVB

Dr. Colleen Roarty has had a love an animals from a young age. She

decided to combine her love for science and animals to pursue a career

in vet med. Dr. Roarty is a native New Jerseyan but has traveled and

helped animals all around the world. She spent time volunteering at free

spay and neuter clinics in Guatemala and India, worked with a wildlife

veterinarian in South Africa, and has experience with lambing season

on a sheep farm in Ireland!

Dr. Roarty graduated veterinary school in 2019 from the University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland! She spent her undergrad years at Clemson University in South Carolina. Dr. Roarty has been working with Absecon Veterinary Hospital since May, 2022. Her professional interests include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, and urgent care.

In her spare time, she likes to read, travel, go to the beach and spend time with her 2 year old domestic short haired cat, Marty!
