When she was growing up in Upper Township, Dr. Patricia Link would capture wild reptiles to do “examinations,” much to her mother’s dismay.
Exotic animal medicine and emergency medicine still are her passions today. The member of the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians finds “stabilizing critical patients through our emergency service and discharging a happy pet,” to be satisfying aspects of her work.
Dr. Link attended Delaware Valley University, graduating with a degree in small animal science, and went to veterinary school at Purdue University, graduating in 2000.
She has multiple pets, including an Argentine tegu named Nerd; Red, a milk snake; Snake, a ball python; a domestic short hair cat called Pelvis, and two horses, Jet and Cheyanne.
Her hobbies include fishing, hiking, hunting and horseback riding.
